Last week we went into why we need to stay single and people really were all about it. Now its time to give my married folks some shine. When you find love it’s a great addition to your life. When you make a commitment to someone you should understand that it is two personalities, thoughts, and opinions living your lives together. Being single has its perks, but being married comes with its own set of benefits. Here are some great reasons for why you may need to put a ring on it. And keep it there
- A Homie,Lover,Friend All In One- When you are single you usually have one person who makes you laugh, one person who you can tell anything to, and one person who gives you amazing sex. When you are married you have all of that in ONE person..how awesome is that!
- Divorce Will Leave You Broke And Broken- If you think being single is costly, try getting a divorce. Via Divorce Statistics: Divorce is a big business in the United States. It is in fact a $28 billion-a-year industry with an average cost of about $20,000. So, when it comes to file the petition, it is important to know that the whole process can be costly. The overall cost of getting divorced in the United States differ from state to state. However, the estimated cost ranges from between $10,000 and $20,000, with an average of $15,000. Then you need to factor in the emotional toll it takes on you. In the end it really is cheaper to keep her
- They Know You..The REAL You- This is probably my favorite reason for getting and staying married. When your going on dates you are putting your best you forward. Your hair is always done, your house is spotless, your car is free of clutter. You laugh and never have a bad day. This is even true within the first 6-12 months. When you have settled into a marriage you can relax a little bit. You can have an off day(but not too many) and know your spouse will love you even when the house isn’t perfect and you’re in sweats and a wife beater. This also means emotionally you don’t have to hide your fears or past pains from your partner. You can be emotionally honest and let go of some barriers in your life and let you be you.
- You And Me vs. the World- When you are down and out with no one to turn to, you always have your spouse to be in your corner. When you are married you have someone else there with you to go through life’s ups and downs. When you have had a hard day, week, month or even a decade you have someone who knows exactly what you are going through because they have been going through it with you, and they care enough to stay around.
- Consistent Sex- Most singles will agree that they don’t get laid as much as they would like. While movies and tv will have you think that every friday night singles are getting it on yet that is so not the case for most of us. When you are married you have sex more. Even if you have sex only 2 times a week for the rest of your marriage you are still having more sex than a person who isn’t married. Remember that the next time you are complaining about your married sex life.
Whether you decide to tie the knot or to stay solo is purely up to you. You must factor in what lifestyle and future you envision for yourself. In this case there isn’t a right or wrong choice. It’s all on you. So if your
married enjoy the ring and the consistent
sex!
