Mama’s baby, daddy’s too many? Does a man with multiple baby mothers make him a bad relationship choice? It’s no secret that the single mother rate is high so that means that there are single men with children in the dating pool. Some more than others. I notice a double standard in my years of dating. I find that a man will question the decision-making skills of a woman with more than 2 children. Men look at a woman with multiple kids as used goods or just a baby momma and nothing more. Women on the other hand seem to turn a blind eye to a man with not only multiple children, but multiple baby mothers.

When we start to date someone we usually only prepare for the good times and forever, not the bad times and temporary. When you only want the good in a relationship you will be more than likely to leave when things get bad or even mediocre. What does this have to do this multiple baby mothers? When you get in a relationship many start to plan a life together. A life that will include kids. So you have a child and all of a sudden you no longer feel the love for your partner. You break up but now you have a child from that relationship. Some years go by and you find yourself in love again and planning a future with your new-found soul mate, or so you think. She get’s pregnant and then you realize this isn’t going to work, but you now have another child from another failed relationship. You see how things can turn from one to many?

What if you are just a man who doesn’t like using condoms? You go from being single to now having 3 different women to answer to when it comes to how you are supporting your children. Now let’s say you have learned your lesson and you are ready to find a serious relationship that will lead to marriage. Should women be wary of you because not only would she be entering a relationship with you and your children but in a way also with your baby mothers. Here is why: when his kids are in your care you will be responsible for them. if anything goes wrong guess who is going to be your face? That child’s mother who may not like you just for the simple fact you got something she couldn’t get…a commitment from her child’s father. Maybe you are great with kids. that may not be enough to avoid baby momma drama. Now multiply that by however many baby mothers he may have and that can be a headache.

What if he is taking care of all of his kids, the mothers of his children all get along, and he is ready to commit to you? Do you pass on him because of some past situations? I would say it depends on his character and the way he is not only handling his situation but how he is dealing with you within that situation. Yes you should consider his past decisions but understand your not in love with his past but his present and that is what you look at. Do we all make some not so smart decisions in life and love of course. It’s how he is making his present work and his future better that matters.
